Urgent care

This is urgent care for non-emergency concerns — not an emergency department. We see walk-ins and same-day visits for illnesses and minor injuries such as urinary tract infections, sinus and upper-respiratory infections, flu, strep, fever, eye infections, skin rashes, abrasions, and cuts. We also handle tetanus shots when appropriate, wound care, laceration repair with stitches, suture, staple, and drain removal, lap band adjustments, postoperative check-ins, and activity-related injuries. We see patients age 12 and older. For chest pain, stroke symptoms, severe breathing trouble, or another life-threatening emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

Who It's For

Is this visit right for you?

  • People who need same-day or walk-in care for an everyday illness or minor injury
  • Patients who need a cut repaired, wound care, stitch or staple removal, or a tetanus shot
  • Patients with a lap band who need an adjustment
  • Anyone who wants a familiar local clinic instead of an emergency department for a non-emergency concern

What To Expect

How the visit works.

  • Walk-ins during office hours when we can see you, or a same-day appointment if you call ahead
  • An exam and, when useful, in-office testing such as rapid flu, strep, or COVID
  • A clear plan for treatment, follow-up, or emergency care if the concern is not right for urgent care
